Fallowfield Dene Caravan Park required an initial full-fibre network build to connect 40 static caravans and provide reliable gigabit internet connectivity across the site, with capacity to bring additional caravans online over time.

The challenge

The project needed to deliver high-speed connectivity to every caravan while maintaining separation between different network services and supporting existing on-site systems.

What was delivered

  • A gigabit leased line delivered to site as the core internet connection.
  • Two communications cabinets installed with TP-Link JetStream SFP switches.
  • Bi-directional SFP optics used to support efficient fibre distribution.
  • A duct network installation linking every caravan back to a central communications cabinet.
  • Dedicated fibre to each caravan, with each unit provided its own Wi-Fi gateway/router.
  • Network configuration providing Layer 2 and Layer 3 separation.
  • External Wi-Fi access points installed for site-wide wireless coverage.
  • Integration support for existing CCTV cameras and the reception area.

The result

Fallowfield Dene now has a structured, scalable full-fibre deployment delivering gigabit-capable service to the initial 40 caravans, with new caravans being connected gradually as they are added to the park, alongside improved wireless coverage across communal areas and clear network separation for secure day-to-day operations.
